  • Background

    Each semester during the first week of classes you should print or save a copy of each of your syllabuses. You also should read through them and try to get a feel for what your class will be like. You need to determine how challenging the class will be. In addition to the information below, it is important to make note of a few other things which include:

    • What is the grading scale?
    • What (and when) are the big assignments/exams?
    • Are their attendance points/penalties?
    • What is the late work policy?
    • What does the class schedule (weekly breakdown) look like?
  • Form directions

    Fill out the following information for each class. When you submit this form, the success tools system will send you a personalized reference sheet. If you are completing this success tool as part of an assignment for a class, you can upload the attached document into Blackboard in order to receive credit for the task.
