  • Strosacker Library and Learning Commons presents: Human Library - unjudge someone. (Call for submissions)

Northwood University will be hosting the Human Library event on April 5, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Strosacker Library and Learning Commons on Northwood’s campus.

The Human Library concept is designed to build a positive framework for conversations that can challenge stereotypes and prejudices through dialogue. The Human Library event will be a place where real people tell their stories to others as though they are real books.

We’re seeking students to serve as “Books” who can tell their stories to Northwood University faculty, staff and students as well as members of the local community in an effort to promote tolerance, celebrate differences and encourage understanding between people who come from varied lifestyle or cultural backgrounds.

If you’re interested in serving as a Book, please fill out this submission form by March 1, 2022.
