  • Private Donor scholarships will be awarded two times annually, the deadline for consideration are as follows:

    Fall semester start: July 15th
    Spring semester start: December 15th

    To be considered for any Private Donor Scholarships you must meet the donor’s criteria and the following institutional eligibility requirements:

    1. Have been admitted to the DeVos Graduate School of Management
    2. Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA at time of review
    3. Enrolled at least half time each semester
    4. Have less than 75% employer reimbursement
    5. Opt-in form received by deadline stated above

    Awards are determined by a scholarship committee. Scholarship amounts are subject to change and are not automatically renewable. Notification of scholarship decisions will be made by email. Please contact Christie McDonald in the Financial Aid Office any questions.

    Only one opt-in form is required to be considered for any and all Graduate Private Donor scholarships that you may qualify, as long as you remain enrolled at least part-time your ‘opt-in’ will remain in effect during your Graduate academic career at Northwood University.

  • I understand and agree that if selected as a scholarship recipient, I will fulfill the following requirements within specified deadlines, which will be provided in my scholarship offer letter:

    1. Write a letter(s) of thanks and respond to any communication requested by the donor
    2. Remain enrolled half-time for the full academic year

    I understand that a committee will review applications and make scholarship awards based on donor criteria.

    I understand that some scholarships may require the private donor scholarship committee to gather additional information. Any request for additional information will be sent via your Northwood University email. I understand that if I fail to provide this information within 10 days (from the date of the email) of being asked I will no longer be considered for the scholarship for which the information is being requested.
