  • Northwood University is pleased to award five international undergraduate scholarships in the name of the generous donor, Patricia Naegele. The Naegele International Scholarship is renewable for up to three years and the prevailing private donor scholarship renewal criteria applies. Students are eligible for the Naegele International Scholarship based on the following criteria:

    • Incoming international, non-athlete, degree seeking (non ESL) freshman student
    • Must have paid a commit deposit
    • 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA – as evaluated by Northwood University and/or a third-party evaluation service.

Only one Naegele International Scholarship form is required to opt-in to be considered for the scholarship each year. As long as the student who has been awarded remains a full-time student, and meets eligibility criteria, their opt-in status will remain in effect during their academic career at Northwood University.

  • Your Student ID is a 7 digit number found on your Acceptance Letter in the upper right corner.
  • I understand and agree that if selected as a scholarship recipient, I will fulfill the following requirements within specified deadlines as provided in my scholarship offer letter:

    • Continue to meet scholarship eligibility requirements
    • Write a letter of thanks and respond to any communication requested by the Private Donor Committee
    • Remain enrolled full-time for the full academic year
    • Attend the Private Donor Scholarship Luncheon (upon invitation)

I understand the committee will review applications and make scholarship awards based on donor criteria. The selection and awarding process is ongoing throughout the entire academic year.

I understand that some scholarships may require the Private Donor Scholarship Committee to gather additional information. Any request for additional information will be sent via Northwood University email. I understand that if I fail to provide this information within 10 days from the date of the email, I will no longer be considered for the scholarship for which the information is being requested.
