Appeal Steps
In order to appeal your status, you must complete each of the following steps.
In an attached letter, please explain in detail the circumstances that contributed to your academic problems for the semester that you did not maintain satisfactory academic progress or hit the merit renewal requirement. You must demonstrate a "special circumstance" in order for your appeal to be considered. If you fail to outline your special circumstances, your appeal will be denied. Special circumstances are circumstances that are out of your control. * Required
Provide documentation that supports your special circumstance (example: medical documentation, copy of obituary, medical bills, or divorce decree). * Required
You must complete a "Success Plan" before this appeal is reviewed. * Required

- Merit: Merit Scholarship has been reduced/eliminated due to GPA renewal requirement
- Satisfactory Academic Progress: Financial Aid has been placed on suspension (this appeal is separate from any academic appeal that you may have completed).

- By submitting this form, I understand that due to poor academic performance my financial aid has been suspended. If my appeal to reinstate my financial aid is granted, I understand that it will be at a probationary status.
