Gallery of Distinction Nomination

As part of the Northwood University Gallery of Distinction nomination process, we ask nominators to use the following criteria as a guideline.

The Gallery of Distinction nominee…
- Has a personal or professional relationship or connection with the nominator
- Is a proven leader, highly respected in his/her industry
- Supports the Northwood philosophy, which promotes private enterprise, personal responsibility, and integrity, and is likely to maintain a relationship with the University
- Believes in the importance of education and has demonstrated community involvement
- Can provide inspiration and motivation for graduating students and is willing and able to share a professional commencement address
- Is able to commit to attending the commencement for which they are chosen to speak
- Must be approved by Northwood University’s Gallery of Distinction academic committee
