Proposed Course Title *

(The course title should reflect the overall intent of the course and be no longer than 30 characters, including spaces)

Type of Course Action *

New – A course intended to be offered on a regular basis to enhance the curriculum either as a requirement or an elective.
Experimental Course – Courses designed to be offered as a pilot in order to promote innovation, experimentation, and development within authorized programs. Experimental courses cannot be taught for more than 2 academic years; if evaluation indicates the course should be continued, the course should be requested on a permanent basis through the Course Approval Process.
Special Topic – Topics offered temporarily that are specific to a topic of interest; content is different each time the course is offered.
Amend – Changes to an existing course that may include course content, teaching method, assessment strategy or resource requirements.
Sunset – Expiration of a course not taught within three years.
Delete – Any course that has not been taught for six consecutive academic years will be removed from offering and require a new course proposal in order to reinstate.

Indicate the number of semester hour credits for the course. The number of credits for which a course is offered must accurately reflect the number of scheduled contact hours for faculty-student instruction and/or discussion.
